The golden perch also known as yellow belly lives in almost every river and lake in Victoria, NSW and QLD, that is west of the great divide. They are a very popular fish because of there eating quality, although fish over 2kg tend to become very fat and oily. Click Photo to find out more.

The Red fin is also known as English perch came from Great Britain late last century. Eleven fish were sent by boat with seven surviving the journey, these seven fish have populated almost every river and creek that flows into the Murray – Darling system and a large amount of the impoundment’s west of the great divide.
